HELLO ELISE AND THANK YOU FOR PLAYING THE MATMOND FACES GAME. CAN YOU PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF?
My name is Elise and I have been a sales assistant at Matmond for over a year now. In April, I will be a sales representative. I have also been a toner salesperson for 6 months. Before joining Matmond, I was self-employed as a puppy buyer and seller, a dog breeder and a veterinary assistant. Nothing to do with copiers and toners!
WHAT IS YOUR JOB? OR, SHOULD I SAY WHAT ARE YOUR JOBS? SALES ASSISTANT AND SALES REPRESENTATIVE TONER?
I work as a sales assistant. It means that I take care of the administrative part of export sales. I help the sales representatives to draft offers. I also have a small “transport” duty where I release containers that have reached their port of destination.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT THIS JOB?
The sales !
IT SEEMS PRETTY CLEAR TO ME. WHAT SKILLS AND/OR QUALITIES ARE ESSENTIAL FOR BEING A GOOD SALES PERSON?
Customer contact is very important. Everything revolves around building customer relation. You also have to be organised and rigorous. And being dynamic is also important.
NOTED! WHAT ATTRACTED YOU MOST TO MATMOND? IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT IS THE COMPANY STRONG ASSETS?
Export is what attracted me the most! And for me, the biggest strength of Matmond is teamwork.
